I bought this dress for my summer 2018 wedding, and absolutely fell in love with its simple elegance. However, I found another dress, was so torn and fretted about it for months, and eventually ended up buying the other dress to wear for my wedding.
But I wish I could have worn both!! It was an incredibly hard decision because the Mabel gown is simply gorgeous, so I hope someone else can give it a proper home and make a beautiful bride in it on their wedding day!
The Mabel gown is stunning and timeless; understated beauty with a touch of feminine romance with the delicate lace cap sleeves, and the soft silk is lightweight, easy to move in, and flattering on curves.
I am 5'7" and 128lbs (B: 33.5, W: 29, H: 38), and ordered a size 6. Since I am fairly curvy/hourglass-shaped, I was considering raising the bodice seam so it would sit a little higher on my natural waist and be more flattering to my curves (shown pinned-up as such in some of the pictures from the bridal boutique). But as I mentioned, the dress has not been altered, so you will be free to make your own adjustments so it fits you perfectly!
The dress also comes with 65 silk-covered buttons that we bought to have added down the train. These cost $200, but they will come to you with the dress for free!
The images show me wearing the size 6 dress that is for sale, as well as a sample dress at the boutique so you can see how the dress might look after some alternations (and show off the French bustle!).
