I am selling my Rebecca Schoneveld Reese ballgown with Ivy lace topper and Truvelle silk sash. I was married on Oct. 14, 2018, in Boston, Mass. After my wedding, I brought the gown on my honeymoon and had it blessed by Pope Francis in the Sposi Novelli section at one of his Wednesday audiences.
The Ivy lace topper is attached to the gown with snaps that are hidden by the silk sash; sash is sewn to the gown but can be removed. At the end of my reception, I removed the Ivy topper and put on the BHLDN Rosemary Shrug in Rose (see last photo; available for additional price). The gown is very easy to sit, stand and move in, and it has pockets (bonus!).
I'm a street size 8/10 and this gown fit like a glove, so I was delighted to need no alterations to the bodice of the gown. Combined with the lace topper and waltz-length veil (available for additional price), it was the perfect combination for a traditional Nuptial Mass. At the reception, I removed the veil and eventually changed into the BLHDN feathered topper which was a fun way to add a modern spin to my ensemble. I loved my look on my wedding day and know you will, too!
