Stunning Vera Wang Designer Lace Wedding Gown
Similar to Nathalie but much more exquisite high end lace
I purchased this dress from the original owner in NYC. As per original owner, the dress was customized by Vera Wang with an original 18,000 price tag (One of her weddding photos was signed by Vera herself!)
The dress has not been worn since I purchased it but has been lovingly stored. My spouse and I were both military. We originally thought we would do a ceremony , but our orders took us abroad to Germany, deployment, other duty stations, etc. We have been married for 9 years now, and decided against formal ceremony. (went straight to honeymoon - haha)
No bad omens to the dress, but It deserves better than being boxed in a closet.
The dress is absolutely stunning and a very timeless piece. It is feminine, flattering and really walks right out a romantic story. This is the kind of dress that makes you feel elegant.
It's design is taken from the Nathalie style but with additional ivory chantilly over-embroidered lace detailing that flows uniformally throughout the entire length of the gown. (Note the Nathalie style only has this accent at the bust, waist , and hem) The gown is a slimming A-line design but has Swarvoski crystal detailing below the bustline creating a flattering "empire" look. The same crystal beadworking is echoed along the train edging.
Minor Negatives: There is a tiny dark bead sized spot (see photo). It would likely come out in cleaning. The stitching on the left ribbon needs to be re-enforced (see photo) minor.
Otherwise dress is in beautiful condition - see bottom of train is even pristine. See photo.
